Field Density Sand Replacement Method
Field Density Sand Replacement Method apparatus for determining the in-situ density and dry density of compacted soil and granular materials at construction sites.
Product Overview
STANDARDS: ASTM D1556 | AASHTO T191 | NF P94-061-3 | CNR N° 22 | UNE 7371
Field Density Sand Replacement Method is a standard field testing method used to determine the in-situ density and dry density of compacted soil and granular materials. The method uses calibrated sand to measure the volume of a test hole, allowing the field density of the soil to be calculated accurately.
It is widely used for checking the degree of compaction of soil during road construction, embankment work, foundation preparation and other civil engineering projects.
